Visualizing Size in Biochemical Systems - Update

After some helpful suggestions, I've revised the previous image I made. This time I've used the atom representation for the proteins and peptides, so atoms are used everywhere for visualization and they have the correct radii. Doesn't look as cool, but it is more consistent.

  1. Hellow Andrew,

Would it be possible to follow a tutorial on how you did this. I currenntly use VMD and would like to create movies but similar to how they would be in a medical video.
The images above look similar to what I am trying to produce and so far I haven't found a useful and concise tutorial on how to merge VMD with another software eg Chem_Maya.

I would be really grateful for your help.

  2. Brilliant depiction of relative sizes. Can I use this for my vaccine immunology seminar? Also love the blog name.
